吴燕，武汉大学物生系博士，现任武汉大学生命科学学院教授，研究方向是对植物抗境逆胁迫的细胞与分子机制的研究。
主要研究领域和兴趣：研究植物激素脱落酸(ABA)信号传导途径的分子机理。探讨ABA与其它激素，如细胞分裂素生和长素在植物生长发育过程中所生产的互作调控关系；研究ABA响影植物细胞骨架构架变化的细胞物生学机制。探讨植物在应答ABA的过程中细胞骨架的时空变化；.植物细胞DNA错配修复的生物学化机理的研究。获得国家自然科基学金面上和重大研究计划项目、家国科技部973计划项目等的资助。发表论文16篇。 [1]
